Wordless Wednesday

Oh how fast the last two years have passed. I am still amazed each day I have two more and they are phenomenal little people who are bright and intelligent, full of life and trouble. If you look closely you can see a small line of drool after blowing out the candle. Full of life and trouble!

Here are to many more birthdays celebrating all your life and trouble together.

Wordless/Wordful Wednesday

I am ever so grateful to have had the time to spend with my sister Nicole on Thursday and Friday. This is Friday night after she and my nephews spent the afternoon with the twins and I, my brother came over after he got off work, we all had dinner together and this is the end result. All the cousins goofing around at the table while the adults chit-chat and drink some fresh brewed java! Good times...good times!
I can't say the phrase enough

FAMILY ROCKS!

Wordful Wednesday: Dinner

The kids are all now at a certain age where we are all sitting at the dinner table. While the twins could probably stand to continue their seating in high chairs, they are socially at the point where they want to be at the table with the family.

I am all for it! Why not? Why not start now and teach them manners and keeping their food on their plate that they have been working so hard to do and by using utensils which they are mastering. They just have to get past that not ever spoon is a spork and not every fork is a spork.

Our scene from dinner just last night. The first night with the "kiddie" bench since I bought a matching farm bench to match the farm table in the kitchen. This way, they can sit next to one another like they like and at the table with big brother, mom, and dad.

I just love to see all three of their smiling faces at dinner. Such a joy to have my family at dinner every night. Now if they would all "SIT" and sit still that would be even better!

Wordful/Wordless Wednesday

THE FRIDGE

Now I do have to share a very large secret about this monstrosity of refrigerated bliss.
You see, the fridge is actually a fridge AND a freezer.
Yes. Each are stand alone. Not a built in....but I built my kitchen and designed the ENTIRE kitchen around my "faux" built-in, but ever so freaking awesome fridge and freezer.

That is them....wide open.
Now here is each open alone so you can see how they work.

The freezer, chock full of my goodies, at the bottom is my free range chicken, the DiGiorno for the nights that I don't cook and we refuse to order take out along with the Bertoli pasta The Chad can cook when again....I am burned out on cooking or I happen to take a night off. The freezer is the size of a FULL SIZE top and bottom fridge & freezer. So now, her cool sister...the fridge.

Isn't she PURTY!?
Look at all those leftovers crammed into that shelf, below the cow that I should buy. Can you see all that milk? Yeah, that is gone in A DAY!! A DAY!! Easily 2 1/2+ gallons of milk a day. I need a freaking cow.
The fridge, stand alone. Also the size of a full size top and bottom fridge and freezer.

All in all.....my fridge and freezer yield me roughly 36 cu. feet of storage!
More so than I would have gotten out of a french door fridge AND I saved myself at least $1000 by doing this combo a few years ago. I have to say that I LOVE my Whirlpool fridge and freezer! I have yet to have a problem with them EVER and I have my very first Whirlpool french door fridge in my garage as a beverage and "storage" fridge/freezer. That old girl is going on 11 years old and still works like a freaking charm!

So now you know what kind of food we TRULY eat in our home and you get to see how stinking cool
THE FRIDGE really is!

Wordless / Wordful Wednesday

WORDLESS

Grinding out Pies!
(Yes,  a mortar and pestle for my FRESH spices)

WORDFUL

Me and my favorite sister in the world! She is my sister by marriage but I love her all the same! She and I acting like total dorks for NEW MOON! Let me tell you, that was a fabulous experience.
I could care less if people thought the movie was a flop or success. The point of the movie was based on the book and this movie definitely stayed more true to the book. While parts were left out for obvious time constraints, the movie was fab! Did I scream like a ninny teenager you ask?

GOOD GAWD YES!

I loved it! I was wrapped up in the moment with my girls! I had a blast, they had a blast, we giggled. We laughed, we laughed until we cried, we swooned at the hot bods on the silver screen.
We did the double feature of watching Twilight at 9pm and then New Moon at Midnight.
After Twilight though we had some time to spare and so we do what all girls do when they are out late:

WE HIT THE BAR! LOL
Seriously, Brittany in the forefront is Nicole's sister, my sister-in-law's sister and she had never been in a bar.
So we do what all supportive friends do and we went to the bar and had some cocktails. In fact Nicole was so thirsty she hated to let any of her drink go to waste so she decided to help clean the bar.

I won't ruin New Moon for you I won't ruin your excitement and I won't ruin your opinion good or bad. I just know I had a grand time with some people that I love!

My Girls!
Lynsi, Karie (moi), Nicole, Brittany

I love you girls and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to spend a fabulously fun night with a great group of gals! I am also glad we rolled White Mafia in The Chad's car....because that car is bangin'!!
WEWT for Eclipse ladies!

Wordful & Wordless Wednesday A tribute

WORDLESS

Daniel Robert Hudson
January 31, 1930 - October 17, 2009

WORDFUL
I had quite the emotional post the other day in tribute of my beloved and much adored grandfather. I really cannot say much else other than even in his passing I learned so much more about him. He worked in the copper mines of Baghdad (Arizona...sheesh!), he played Semi-pro basketball (which explains his explicit knowledge of the game), he owned his own business not but a few years ago, and he was in the Special Services for the military. In addition to all the wonderful facts on my grandpa I am so blessed by my family, my friends (big Hugs to you Jen, I love you dearly!! You inspired my tribute to Grandpa!) and my bloggy friends for all the wonderful condolences. Without blogging I would have retreated inside. Holding all my feelings inside not dealing with my grief. While I am still in denial, I will begin to motion through the remaining stages of grief where I finally will come to my acceptance. Ultimately the most painful emotion, the healtiest.

Please if you can send karma, prayers, thoughts, MoJo for my grandmother. While she is being strong, I know this will be the strongest test of her faith in her lifetime. 56 years of marriage, she will need a higher power to provide divine strength as she too grieves and processes her feelings.

Thank you all, you have no idea how wonderful you are in my bloggy life and real life!!
Happy WW!!

Wordful/Wordless Wednesday: Little Bitty

I was so excited today yesterdaybecause I finally was able to wrangle the twins into their totally cute Revenge Is shirts that I did a review about, and a giveaway. Yes shameless I am. So I got them all dolled up in their shirts with their cute shorts to match and everything. I mean the day was beautiful, the lighting for the pictures would have been perfect as well as you can see, just marvelous. I even got Big G to smile a beautiful smile.

(Thumbs up mom!)
But they decided that the hose would be "totally wicked!" to play in before Mom (moi) got off her duff finished working to go take the beautiful photos of these beautiful children. Thus, the review got some candid shots, cool. That's how we roll. So here are my children playing in the yard that Yolanda has been neglecting.

Oh yes, they are TOTALLY. Head. To. Toe. S-O-A-K-E-D!! Being the perfectionist mother I am I tried for a few more shots of my baby girl who is my ONLY baby girl and a total photo poser for me.

I got this beautiful picture with the sunset in the back....I have yet to edit or clean it up. I love the raw beauty.
And I thought I would go for one more as a hat trick and this is what I got

I will be damned if she is not happy about something. Mind you, this is before the blood curdling banshee wail. But isn't she just the prettiest baby to throw a fit?

Happy Wordful/Wordless Wednesday!! Be sure you go see Angie and her circus to link up, as well as Extraordinary Mothers, Wordless Wednesday Headquarters, 5 Minutes for Mom.

Wordful and Wordless Wednesday

I figured I needed to expand my horizons on my Wednesday,
I am an equal opportunity kind of gal you know?!
So I am doing two....again equal...story of my life!

My Wordful Wednesday is the following picture:

This picture was recently taken of the TWIN baby clothes that I need to dispose of somehow. I mean I need to find a mom who is having twins (boy/girl), just recently had twins, or just found she is pregnant with twins! The pile is of clothes from newborn to 9 months, I have a WHOLE other box of twin clothes 12 months and up (matching boy/girl if you didn't guess) that I need to photograph and post somewhere too. So I figured why not here? Why not if someone wants these matching twin boy girl clothes, email me at the linky at the top and I would be more than happy to LIST everything that is in the pile. If you can help me clean out my garage and buy these clothes off me (for a severe discount) I would be eternally grateful. Who would have thunk that two little people could generate so much stuff!!??? And that does not include all the gear!! I have 2 swings, 2 bouncers, 2 exer-saucers, 2 of EVERYTHING that I really don't need anymore. I mean I am SOOO done having babies. Email me if you want more details!

Now for my Wordless Wednesday Version

My Wordless Wednesday is the following picture:

(Handsome isn't he? That man is the reason why I have a fantastic life and beautiful babies!)
